Ground Zero

Perhaps even before they appear fully formed in the brain, some cartoons start on the page. The act of drawing of some thing makes something. ‘AirBnB and Beyoncé’ is an example of this: a sketch on the side of a page that is a scribble of an idea for a wannabe joke that has yet to be drawn up and published, if it ever will be.
